Six Figure Site Infrastructure Savings


Following on the success of the first 2 phases an open tender approach was again taken for the site infrastructure. The open tender approach for the 1 MVA incoming electricity infrastructure at this green field development enabled considerable savings to be made over the original cost plan.

Howarth Homes PLC Choose BTP


Windsor Street marked another opportunity for BTP to work alongside Howarth Homes PLC, this time on a 37 luxury apartment development which also features a ground floor commercial space.


 

Future-proof Luxury - Heating & Cooling from the River Thames


This new build Eco SMART home in Maidenhead allowed us to 'stretch our engineering legs' and put together a cutting edge, future proof design. The property will have zero net running costs with all heating and cooling provided from the River Thames.



 

Office News


One of our highlights was the opening of our new Cairns office in the new year which will accompany and support our existing offices in the UK and Asia. Having moved permanently over to Australia Ben will be posted full time in Cairns as we aim to grow and spread the business throughout Far North Queensland.


 

Zero Carbon refurbishment for Oxford University (Listed Building!)


St John's was a challenging but extremely rewarding design for BTP as we were able to achieve zero carbon in a listed building.



 

BTP Supports CIC in developing better quality in buildings


Thank you to HKS architects London office for hosting the CIC 'better building design' workshop yesterday. The first of their four UK national events to gather industry experience prior to advising the Government on changes required to improve quality in construction.
